For him an idea is only good once it has been realised.” Jons on Maurits and Bert “Maurits is someone who thinks very innovatively and creatively. He has given the EHL its character with his ideas. Bert Spaak has succeeded in translating that into a good marketing concept. This has revolutionised the visualisation of hockey. These two guys together have truly developed something exceptional.” Bert on Jons and Maurits “Maurits was responsible for all the innovations on the fi eld in their original form. Jons then contributed enormously in his selling of the concept. At my request last year he became the Chairman of the EHL. He is the perfect man for the job on account of his knowledge, his enthusiasm, his networking connections, his business acumen, and the way he presents.
